Rabengo

- Monferrato rosso D.O.C. -

Description

Rabengo is one of our top wine, only produced in the best vintages starting from 1997.
It’s obtained blending Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes in order to bring together the best features of these two noble Piedmontese varieties.
Grapes come from a single vineyard, for this reason are picked and ferment together in a large Slavonian oak barrel for 15-20 days at the temperature of 28°C. Our Rabengo is aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.

An elegant full body wine, with a long aging potential.
Recommended with red meat and aged cheeses. Absolutely to try with dark chocolate.

Ideal serving temperature: 18°C.

Uncork the bottle a couple of hours before serving the wine.
